About
About reflexdojo
A small site for measuring reflexes, clicking, typing and memory, built because the existing ones measure them badly.
Why it exists
The tests in this category are among the most-used tools on the web, and almost all of them share the same problems. They start their timer when their code runs rather than when the screen actually changes, which quietly flatters every score. They average five rounds, so one bad round defines you. And they never tell you how much of the number is your hardware rather than you.
None of that is hard to fix. This site fixes it and writes down exactly what it does, on the methodology page, so you can decide for yourself whether to trust the numbers.
Who runs it
reflexdojo is built and maintained by Rodrigo Anastácio, a software engineer. It is a personal project rather than a company. If something is wrong, broken or unfair, the fastest way to get it fixed is to say so.
The rules it holds itself to
- Nothing is placed above a test. No banner, no cookie wall, no interruption.
- No account is required, and results are stored in your browser rather than on a server.
- Every published benchmark names its source. Where a figure comes from someone else’s dataset, it says so.
- A run that looks automated is still shown to you, but does not enter the shared statistics that everyone else is measured against.
- Zoom is never disabled, on any device.
