Privacy

The short version

Your results are saved in your own browser and are never tied to you. There is no account, no login, and no profile. If you clear your browser’s site data, everything this site knows about you is gone.

What is stored in your browser

Local storage holds your test results, your personal bests, your streak, your theme choice and the refresh rate we measured for your display. None of it leaves your device except as described in the next section, and you can export or delete all of it from your results page.

What is sent to us

When you complete a test, we may record the test name, the variant, your device type (mouse, touch, keyboard or pen) and the score, so that percentiles reflect real people. That record carries no identifier: it cannot be linked back to you, to your other results, or to your browser.

We do not record what you type. The typing test compares your keystrokes against the target text in your browser and sends only the resulting speed and accuracy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It does not follow you to other sites.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Since no personal information is collected from anyone, there is nothing held about a child either.

Your rights

Because nothing here is linked to an identity, there is no personal data to access, correct, or export on request — the delete button is your browser’s own. If you have a question or a request anyway, write to contactrundev@gmail.com and it will be answered within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top of this page changes with it and the change is described here.
