What this measures
A click counter with no clock. It counts presses and shows the elapsed time and your running average, and it stops when you stop.
People use this for counting things in the real world — inventory, laps, headcounts at a door — as often as for measuring clicking speed. There is no timer to fight and no score to beat, so the number just keeps going.
If you want a measured clicks-per-second figure instead, use the CPS test, which fixes the window so the result is comparable with everyone else’s.
Questions
Is there a time limit?
No. The counter runs until you reset it, which is what makes it useful for counting things that are not clicks.
Can I use the keyboard?
Yes. The space bar and the enter key both increment the counter, so you can leave your hand on the keyboard.
Does the count survive a page reload?
No. Reloading starts a fresh count, so write down anything you need to keep.
